Netloader
In order to upload the firmware to the XnTcp, you need the Java program Netloader, freely distributed by Modtronix Engineering.
On Modtronix download page you find two versions of the program for Windows® (different in aspect and file size) and one for Unix®-Mac OS®/X. After downloading the version that suits your needs, install it in accordance with the following instructions.
Windows®
- Simply run the installation program.
- To run Netloader, double-click on the Netloader shortcut created on the
desktop by the installer.
Mac OS®/X
- Simply unpack the Netloader-V106.tar.gz file.
- To run Netloader, open the Netloader-V106 folder created by tar and
double-click on the Netloader AppleScript.
Linux® and other Unix® flavors
- Unpack the Netloader-V106.tar.gz file.
- Modify the path in the Netloader.sh script (contained in the
Netloader-V106 directory created by tar), to reflect your installation.
- Install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) available from www.oracle.com/technetwork/java (If you already
used JMRI, the JRE is already installed on your computer).
- In order to run Netloader, launch the bash script Netloader.sh
