The videoclip shows automated circulation of trains on a small N-scale layout controlled by JMRI Layout Editor and by a Jython script.

Layout panel

The script interacts with JMRI to acquire information about layout connectivity from Layout Editor and to control turnouts, signals and locomotives. Each train runs in accordance to its own schedule and the script takes care of traffic rules, changing trains speeds and stopping them as required.

The script, together with the example layout panel and the relevant instructions can be downloaded from the AutoDispatch folder in the files section of the JMRI Users Group on Yahoo (in order to download it, you must join the group)
